I must say that I am thankful last week is over. Between almost fainting and having to throw up, and having to rush to the doctor on my birthday- see posts below- I was so thankful to have an uneventful weekend. The hubs and I just hung out and relaxed. I also had softball tryouts ( I help coach the varsity team at school) and cleaned my house (thank god!).
Thank you for all the supportive comments and prayers- I'm feeling a lot better now, and haven't heard a peep from baby- a good thing for sure ! I head back to the doctor next week Wednesday, I'm anxious to hear how things are and begin the one month countdown to find out what we're having!
Here's my lastest preggo question: I am a stomach sleeper- and I read in my pregnancy book I could start to hurt the uterus by laying on my stomach at night. I know I will eventually be forced to turn to my side when my belly starts to bulge- but am I really putting my baby at risk right now ? (I'm asking because I tried to sleep on my side last night and had a horrible time!)

Seriously, I totally know what you mean. I don't think you are hurting it, but I had to buy a body pillow (from babies r us - it was $20 bucks) and I wrapped it around me and it helped. It takes pressure off the belly and slightly turns you on your side. It takes a while but you will get used to sleeping on your side. I flip and flop all night because of het side sleeping thing.
I was a total stomach sleeper before I had hayden! now I can't stand it...so it will get better. I used ridiculous ammounts of pillows to prop myself up towards the end...but I think that you are fine for now!
you are fine for a wee bit but you will know when it's time to turn on your side. A body pillow helped me or a pillow between your legs might work.
i agree that you will know when it's time to turn on your side. i am a MAJOR stomach sleeper and every time i get pregnant that is one of the hard things to go through. the transition. but last pregnancy i did buy a body pillow from babies r us and that has helped. your little baby is so tiny right now and very protected so i wouldn't worry about turning on my side just yet. you'll feel when it is the right time.
