My how things have changed..

I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and saw a tired shell of the woman I used to be. My hair needs to be dyed (think 2 inches of grow-out); I have zits covering half my face (hello, puberty over yet?); and the bags under my eyes! Oh geez, I never thought that I could have dark circles and bags such a I've seen lately on this face!! It's incredible what being a busy mother does to you. I look terrible! And I feel like I don't even have an extra 5 minutes to try and spritz myself up a bit. It's bad, people!
As I sit and type this, I am looking at a picture of hubs and I, taken the day before our wedding. I look so youthful- not a blemish on my skin... my hair is pinned and curled, with no visible roots.. and rested! Oh... the good ole days!
I feel like I need to take better care of myself- after all, I am only 27.. but I just can't seem to muster the energy, let alone the time....

I am with ya sister....It is almost a year later and I am JUST NOW starting to feel like I am getting myself back. Like I have gotten used to a new routine of being a busy mommy.

woah. totally been there. though i am SURE you don't look as bad as you think you do, i get where you're coming from.

babies are worth it at least...

the good news: it gets easier and you'll have time for yourself again someday. in the words of the immortal wilson philips 'hold on for one more daaay.' haha

I can only imagine what this could be like for you. You need to leave the sweet baby with daddy for half a day, and take some tiem for yourself. Go get your hair done, go get a facial, and go grab some fun clothes and go shopping and go out with a girlfriend.

i'm positive it would help you big big time.

thanks for sharing this with us!

One of my friends tells me it gets easier, they get older, you get time for yourself again, and it's all just a distant memory...you forget! Then comes baby # 2 and you start all over again! :)
I feel ya though!!! REALLY I DO!
